DESCRIPTION:“So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with Him in prayer and petition\, in fasting\, and in sackcloth and ashes.” Daniel 9:3 \n \nAs we begin the Season of Lent\, JPC invites all to attend our Ash Wednesday Service on Wednesday\, February 18\, 2026 at 6:00 PM.\n \nAsh Wednesday is the beginning our Lenten journey toward Easter Sunday.  Ashes on the forehead is a sign of our humanity and a reminder of our mortality\, and symbolize the dust and debris of our sinful lives. We need a Savior! Praise be to God for Jesus\, the Messiah! We trust in the Christ’s Resurrection and listen to the Word of God during our Lenten journey. \n  \n
