As we begin our journey into the Season of Lent, the Thursday Night Bible Study will explore and discuss the Gospel of John, Chapter 15: Abiding in Christ
Our Lenten Bible Study program will begin on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in the church library. All are invited to join this Lenten study as we explore what it means to Abide in Christ:
Abiding in Christ involves our response to the teaching of Jesus. This means allowing His Word to fill our minds, direct our wills, and transform our lives. Abiding in Christ’s Love takes us to the cross; the love of the One who lays down His life for His friends. Abiding in Christ means we are called, as part of the abiding process, to submit to the pruning knife of God in order that we might remain in Christ all the more wholeheartedly.
Abiding in Christ 6 week study: March 14, 21, and 28, April 3, 10, and 17
